Mother Nature. We know her. We think of Mother Nature as this maternal, wise, timeless, caring entity. But what about Mother Nature's daughter? What would her daughter be like? Beautiful? Majestic? Graceful? And how old would she be? Would she be kind? Shy? Extroverted or introverted?
We did a lot of canoe camping in Temagami, northern Ontario. A truly magical place where Mother Nature rules. A place where you encounter many Spirits on the land, the water, and in the sky. Travelling by canoe, after many miles in the rain we came upon the banks of a lake. Dressed in our rain coats, baseball cap turned backwards we came ashore on the beach. We were met by Mother Nature's teenage daughter. She was lost. A little shy and awkward.
