Northern Still Life Original

This abstract catches the colours of Frobisher Bay, at Iqaluit, Nunavut in the Arctic in October. The land is beautiful with steep mountains, the water restless, the air damp and cold, and the sky is full of rain clouds. Occasionally the blue sky peaks in and says hello.

Mixed media on aluminum panel abstract, 15" by 15", done in 2018. Lacquered with clear acrylic finish. Looks like thick glass. Mounted in custom Espresso floating frame. Overall dimension 21.5" by 21.5" Ready for hanging.
