Them and Them and the Coming Storm Original

We have the group of people on the left. The red group.

We also have the black group of people on the right. 

They are competing for limited space at the top of the hill. 

We tend to identify more with one group or the other, driving the classic “Us and Them” divide usually orchestrated for the benefit of Puppet Masters far away.

And there are coming storms.

Here in Ottawa, Canada we are in our 3d week of the occupation and protests in the streets of downtown.

No, we are not in it together.

We are in our own unique circumstances with health, money, and relationship challenges. COVID just accelerated these and poured gasoline over the wounds. 

Accelerated our anxiety, our anger, and our patience.

These are our storms.

When we gather in groups to face the storms always take a side.

If you don’t take sides, if you are silent, the oppressor always has an immediate advantage.

But let’s be careful which sides we are taking. Which storms are we choosing to face?

Which storms are convenient distractions created for the benefit of Puppet Masters far away?

For me, my storms are health, money, family and friends relationships, and future climate for all our kids.
