Yellow Sun On the River Flood Plain Original

Winter and spring took turns reigning on the flood plains of the Ottawa River near the Deschenes rapids in the long spring of 2023.  When it was sunny and warm, some of the water would melt, turn dark, and reflect the trees and the setting sun. At dusk the setting sun would make the snow turn blue. When winter’s grip returned, the water would freeze and the wind would leave a dusting pattern of snow on the frozen surface. Done in the spring of 2023 in Ottawa, Canada.
